SUST Summer School
SUST in partnership with the VAS Mental Health Training Project will be staging a series of half day training sessions in July and August 2008. This is your opportunity to try something different and benefit from the knowledge and experience of skilled mental health service user trainers. All of these short courses will run from 9.30 to 12.30 at VAS.

Going for brokerage in Sheffield
3 July 2008, 9.30am - 4.30pm
Centre in the Park, Norfolk Heritage Park
This event is free and open to anyone with an interest in self-directed services and brokerage and how this will work in Sheffield. It may be of particular interest to:
- brokerage staff;
- health and social care professionals;
- health and social care service providers;
- voluntary sector organisations;
- people who need support and their families.
The event aims to increase knowledge of brokerage, citizen leadership and local area co-ordination and its contribution to brokerage.
A free buffet lunch will be provided

YOUR SURVEYS
Moving People
The Moving People campaign aims to eliminate stigma and discrimination from mental health and publicly challenge attitudes towards mental health in England.
Over 3,000 service users and almost 1,000 carers completed Moving People's Stigma Shout survey. The survey will determine which audiences to target with an anti-discrimination social marketing campaign. The results of the survey should be published on the Moving People website in June.

Annual Carers' Week Survey
